Asha and Rohan's Sweet Dispute
Asha: "Stop, Rohan! That ladoo is mine. I kept it for later!"
Rohan: "But you already ate two, Asha. I only had one."
Asha: "Still! I wrote my name on the box. See? A-S-H-A."
Rohan: "I saw it... but Dadi said, 'Share sweets, share love,' so I thought it was okay."
Asha: "You didn’t even ask me. Now I’m just left with crumbs."
Rohan: "They’re tasty crumbs?"
Asha: "Rohan! This isn’t funny. It was the last motichoor ladoo."
Amma: "What’s all this noise? The neighbors will think a tiger came home."
Asha: "He ate my ladoo, Amma. The one I was saving for after homework."
Rohan: "I didn’t steal. I just… surrendered to the smell. It was calling me."
Asha: "You can’t say you ‘surrendered’ like it’s a magic excuse."
Amma: "Hmm. The smell was strong, but so is your brain, Rohan. You can choose."
Rohan: "My brain lost the fight. My tummy surrendered first."
Asha: "Well, my happiness surrendered when I saw the empty box."
Amma: "We have one more sweet — the big kaju katli. Who gets it?"
Rohan: "Me! I’m the ladoo-less victim now."
Asha: "Victim? You’re the ladoo thief!"
Amma: "If you both grab, I’ll keep it. My tea is also hungry."
Asha: "Wait. What if we cut it in half?"
Rohan: "But your half will be bigger. Your eyes always choose the bigger side."
Asha: "Fine, you cut, I choose. That’s our Raksha Bandhan rule, remember?"
Rohan: "Ugh, that rule always traps me."
Amma: "Someone has to surrender, or no one eats."
Rohan: "Okay, okay. I surrender. You cut, Asha, and I’ll just take what you give."
Asha: "Really? You’re just giving up like that?"
Rohan: "Not giving up. Surrendered… to peace. And to eating something before Amma finishes it."
Amma: "Smart boy. Peace is sweeter than any ladoo."
Asha: "Here, this half is for you. And one extra crumb of my anger. I surrender the rest."
