Maya: "Picnics bring better things than cartoons. Trees, ants, and that big muddy puddle calling your name."
Aarav: "Mud only brings scolding from Amma when I dirty my shorts."
Amma: "Mud bringsbringswashing for me, that’s all. But it also fun for you. Just don’t splash strangers."
Maya: "See, even Amma agrees. The park brings wind in your hair and grass under your toes."
Aarav: "Your words bring tiny butterflies in my stomach. Maybe I do want to run."
Maya: "Come on then! I’ll bring the lemon rice, you bring the cricket bat."
Aarav: "Okay, deal. You bring the picnic, I’ll bring the sixers!"
Amma: "And I’ll bring the water bottles… and a towel for the mud monsters I’m raising."
