Arjun and Meera's Rangoli Adventure
Meera: "Arjun, why are you staring at the rangoli like that?"
Arjun: "I’m trying to copy it, but my chalk lines look like noodles."
Meera: "Aunty’s rangoli has flowers and peacocks. Yours has… a potato."
Arjun: "It’s not a potato, it’s a lotus! I think."
Meera: "You’re holding the chalk upside down, silly."
Arjun: "Am I? Oh no, now I’m totally mixed up."
Meera: "You mean when your brain feels like up is down and left is right?"
Arjun: "Yes! Like when Paati speaks super-fast Tamil and I only catch my name."
Meera: "Or when we had to do that big maths problem before lunch."
Arjun: "Exactly. My head feels all twisty and befuddled."
Meera: "Okay, befuddled artist, let’s fix this. You draw dots, I’ll join them."
Arjun: "Dots I can do. Straight line of dots coming up!"
Meera: "Nice. Now I’ll curve them into a flower. See the petals?"
Arjun: "Ohhh, it’s working! My brain is less befuddled now."
Meera: "Next time you feel befuddled, just breathe and start with tiny dots."
Arjun: "And then we turn the dots into something beautiful… like not-a-potato."
